Sexual Harassment and Sexual Assault within the Kalamazoo College Community
Abstract
The purpose of this study has remained unchanged since I began to work on it. My
primary goal is to document that sexual harassment and sexual assault do occur on this
campus. In the course of such verifications, the study also assesses the types of incidents, how
frequently they occurred, and who perpetrates harassment and assault. It is also designed to
see if women on campus recognize sexual harassment and sexual assault when they occur,
and that if they do, to determine what they do about it and why they do not report it.
