In this paper the Teacher of Righteousness, a figure found in the Dead Sea Scrolls, will be reviewed and analyzed. Unfortunately, information surrounding this figure is few and far between. Little biographical information is offered in the manuscripts, and he fails to be mentioned in any historical texts proper. Three of the most recent publications surrounding this figure will be presented and analyzed. In no way will these texts offer a definitive rendering of the Teacher of Righteousness, but their presentations will bring us closer to the Unique Teacher, as he is named in the Dead Sea Scrolls.en_US
