Personal Appraisal in Industrial Organizations
Abstract
This brief composite history of personnel appraisal is not meant to be all-inclusive. It is meant only to impress upon the reader the vast amount of time and energy which has brought us the knowledge and ideas we have today about formal appraisal. With all the articles written and experienced gained, we still have little agreement in management circles over the value of these programs. Of those who agree on their value, few agree on the best methods involved.
