    Abstract
The purpose of this study is to ascertain if and what connection won-lost records have on the amount of money allocated to athletic teams at the high school level. The writer was limited to one high school, and therefore the conclusions of the report should be considered with this limitation in mind. However, distinct conclusions could be drawn even from the six year period that was covered in this study (although it was difficult to obtain records for even this short period of time).
