It has long been assumed by general students of the British Labour Party that the Fabian Society is a small, but influential, associate of the Party. This idea raised the question of the Fabian's actual influence on the Labour Party from 1945 to 1951. The object of this study is to test the above generalization by closely examining. the relationship of the two organizations and thereby drawing the appropriate conclusions.en_US
