The purpose of this paper is two fold. The title specifically states that the paper deals with "A comparative analysis of the British clothing retail outlet and the retail clothing outlet in the United states". The paper, although, built around this focal point goes much deeper than factual comparison. It demonstrates many of the authors views on the validity or degree of acceptance on anyone given function or method, in a clothing store. The end result being a presentation of factual data representing all aspects of retail clothing sales, in both countries, colored with the editorial opinions of the author, obtained on the training ground of research for this paper.en_US
