    Abstract
This paper is divided into three main sections. The first is a theoretical approach to flexural waves in the defined horns. Although the major emphasis has been placed on the normal flexural modes of a specific flexural horn in a so-called free-free situation. the theoretical analysis has been geared to the general case. This is in anticipation of future studies which may employ horns of other width configurations. This section is followed by a description of the mechanical and electrical system used to excite and analyze the flexural resonance frequencies and standing wave patterns encountered in the first few normal modes. Finally, a summary of results and their significance is submitted along with some recommendations for future investigation in this area.
