This study was designed to determine the effect of expectancy as induced by suggestion upon the perception of beta movement. The hypothesis of this study was that expectancy as induced by suggestion would influence the perception of beta movement. The independent variable was levels of suggestion and the dependent variable the upper limit threshold of beta movement.
