An Inventory of Mexican Gestures
Abstract
Our choice of kinesics as the topic of this thesis was
prompted by a course in introductory linguistics which we
took at Kalamazoo College during the spring quarter of 1963.
This course made us more aware of the increasing importance
of linguistics as a scientific study of communication
processes and of the practical applications of the results
of this study, especially to the problems involved in
understanding foreign cultures.
