Measurement of Magnetic Field along a Transmission Line with a Small Loop Probe
Abstract
This study is specifically concerned with the development
of a small loop probe for measuring the magnetic field intensity
between two half-wavelength, parallel transmission lines. Some
discussion of the theory of both the probe and the transmission
lines has been included, as well as a section on sources of
error which can enter into the measurements of field characteristics.
A complete description of the apparatus used, plus
construction specifications for the probe has also been included.
