dc.description.abstract	This paper is the result of three months of research conducted in the physics laboratory at Kalamazoo College. For the allotted time, a judicious choice regarding the general area of spark discharges in which work was to be done had to be made. Hence, the main objective pursued in this project was to arrive at an understanding of the relation between the resistance of a spark and certain parameters of the circuit in which the spark was created.	en_US
