Abstract
This work reflects a journey which I made in the fall of 1992, to the state of Washington, in the Pacific Northwest. Confronted with a host of
opportunities, as well as questions, I attempted to capture the essence of the
experience, keeping a journal record of my time there. All accounts found in
this narrative are true, and I have endeavored to retain the spirit of the
adventure throughout the writing of the project.
