An Exploration of Women's Attitudes and Experiences with Mathematics

Abstract

The author's project combines a personal essay on the author's own experience with mathematics in school, a general overview of the literature on women and math, interviews with nine women, and a review of the author's experience presenting a Calculus Workshop at Kalamazoo College based on theories found in the book, Women's Way of Knowing.
