A Map of Exploration from American Linguistic Slavery to Democracy

Abstract

Inspired by Margaret Fuller, the author applies the theories of Louis Althusser, Michel Foucault, and others to explore the role of journalistic coverage of events in Kenya, Zaire, Ethiopia, and other African countries on their politics and interaction with western countries.
