Construction of a Beta-Ray Spectrometer

Abstract

During the last three months I have been involved in the construction of a beta-ray spectrometer. This paper is intended as a report on this project. The theory of beta-decay is treated only in such depth as is necessary to fender intelligible the discussion concerning the construction and operation of the spectrometer.
