Religious Beliefs and American Values of Divinity School Students
Abstract
This study had two purposes: one of
which was to see if there was any relationship between
certain types of religious beliefs and American values,
and the other of which was a descriptive study of the
values and beliefs of students in the Bachelor of Divinity
program. Divinity school students were selected to be the
respondents because it was felt that they would be acutely
aware of their religious beliefs, and would be better able
to select statements about their beliefs than the average
person.
