A Comparison of Three "New" High School First-Year Algebra Courses
Abstract
It is the intention of this thesis to compare the above-mentioned
curricula in the various areas that are covered
in the first-year algebra course. It shall also be shown how
these new methods are superior to the traditional methods of
teaching algebra to a ninth-grade students, A study of this
type has not been done before and, consequently, this thesis
could have some educational value.
