The Projected Impact of the Fisher Body Plant upon the Kalamazoo Labor Market
Abstract
It is the intention here to project the impact of the new Fisher Body plant upon the Kalamazoo labor market. Since construction was begun
in February of 1965, only a small labor force has been acquired,
with complete operation set fer late in 1967. While it is impossible
to know at this point what will actually occur in the labor market, the
writer has attempted in the short time allotted to him to ascertain the
present market situation and then to project the labor requirements of
Fisher Body unto it.
