Abstract
The original lab project was to be the preparation
of the alanine-120 analog of the ribonuclease (RNase)
peptide 111-124. However, as the pheny1alanine-120 residue
was not replaced with alanine, the parent complex
was synthesized. The alanine-120 analog was to be used for
kinetic studies; and, in fact, its synthesis was begun
after the parent complex was prepared.
