Computer Simulation of Optimization of Filtration Processes

The purpose of this paper will be to mathematically model the filtration of Lincomyoin broth using Ruth's equation and filter leaf data obtained from lab, and then to optimize the cost of the whole filtration procedure with a computer program by varying the independent variables in the simulation model. These independent variables will be the Submersion depth of the filter in the diluted broth, the speed of rotation of the filter, the dilution ratio of the diluted broth and the filter aid addition ratio.
