Abstract
This paper does not deal with the war itself - militarily
or historically, and only to a small extent politically.
Only the basic movements and events of the war are
stated. To provide the reader with the necessary background
from which the attitudes discussed arise. These attitudes
which are brought forward do not primarily concern the basic
conflict between the hostile parties. Rather. they concern
the relationship between two participating allies. More
specifically. the reactions of Great Britain to the major
policies and actions of the United States during the course
of the Korean War will be considered.
