Impressions of Chicago: A Series of Essays
Abstract
The following "short personal literary compositions" are,
as the title indicates, impressions of the city of Chicago as observed
by me during a three month period, from late September to mid-December,
1967. As impressions, they are subjective, perhaps biased, opinions
and reflections. As essays, they are "attempts," to understand and
to articulate some of the elements of city life as I experienced and
observed it in Chicago. They are arranged chronologically. With honors.
