Abstract
The purpose of this research was to
provide accurate measurements of the primary binding of both
normal gamma globulin and ALS preparations. to viable lymphocytes.
In addition, the kinetics of this antigen-antibody reaction were
investigated. Using 125 I-labeled antibody preparations, association,
dissociation and equilibrium constants of the reaction
of antibody with lymphocytes were determined. In addition, an
equilibrium dialysis technique was developed in order to provide
a direct measurement of an association constant for the formation
of the antigen-antibody complex.
