Electrode Implantation, Chronic Recording of Spontaneous Electrical Activity, and the Effects of Ethanol on the Rat Brain

Abstract

The purpose of this project was 1) to develop a procedure for the implantation of electrodes and the recording of spontaneous electrical activity in th~ brain of the rat, and 2) to investigate the electrophysiological effects of ethyl alcohol on the brain.
