    Abstract
Within man's environment there are many more mutagens than man can possibly estimate. Within the last 25 years man himself has exploited one of the most powerful mutagens, high energy radiation, for both peaceful and military use. The potential use of an anti-mutagen against radiation and other mutagens are as numerous as the mutagens themselves. As mentioned in the introduction, M. G. Sevag found quinacrine hydrochloride to be effective in preventing the development of bacteria resistant to antibiotics. The purpose of this work is to extend the use of quinacrine to a more complex animal and effective mutagen, radiation.
