The purpose of this paper is first to establish a set of relatively constant norms which are obtainable with the apparatus, and the reliability of these which the operator may safely work within. It is the hope of the author that this paper will present a broad comprehensive study of osmometry as it exists today, and will hopefully open the door to more meaningful studies concerning the many possibilities of body osmolality that remain untouched.
