Winston Churchill: Foreign Policy Attitudes in Relation to European Affairs 1933-1939
Abstract
My interest in Winston Churchill stems largely
from a more general interest in historical personalities.
I am, and have been, fascinated by the lives
and deeds of the Great Men, as some historians choose
to call them. This paper, however, was not originally
undertaken with the conscious intent of portraying
Churchill as an historical Hero. If that is how he
emerges in these pages, then it is primarily Churchill's
doing, and not mine.
