Abstract
A note of explanation is necessary concerning the title of this paper. It is my premise that one cannot begin to consider oneself a piano teacher, unless and until one i8 involved in the process. When a teacher has given twenty lessons a week thirty-six weeks a year for thirty years and adds that to his own background (one lesson a week, thirty-six weeks a year, for sixteen years), then he has experienced 22, 176 piano lessons. Whether or not they ware easy lessons is quite debatable.
