While discussing this phenomenon, the question of whether or not this phenomenon may be present in a sandy beach was brought up. That is, is there also a relationship between the tide levels and the population centers of the organisms on a sandy ocean beach. This thesis is an attempt to answer that question. This study was limited only to the animal invertebrates in macroenvonments. It is known from other studies that there is a microenvironment in the water that coats each grain of sand. These organisms ware too small to be studied with the limited facilities.
