Moliere and Lully: The Collaboration

Abstract

The intent of this paper is to dwell heavily on the musical aspect of the collaboration between Moliere and Lully, and with this understanding it shall be treated essentially as a study of Lully's art and part in the collaboration, although the art of Moliere will receive consideration whenever it directly complements that of Lully.
