Understanding the cause of black misery is required for its alleviation. The founders of the Black United Front as well as the authors of the Three-Year Program realize that black people in the United States are colonized and this is the source of their oppression. They suffer the systems of colonialism and the colonial institutions which nourish those systems. Upon Afro- Americans are a political system which controls them but in which they have no control. An economic system in which the ownership of almost all their homes, stores, transportation and labor is absentee but which leaves them virtually propertyless and finally an education system which does not educate them but rather trains their minds and bodies for serfdom in the political, economic, and social structures of society. If you are not a current K College student, faculty, or staff member, email firstname.lastname@example.org to request access to this SIP.
