Abstract
The past decade has witnessed a tremendous rise in the popularity of ethology, the biological study of animal behavior. This has largely been caused by several books dealing with the biological nature of man. These accounts are, at least on the surface, quite convincing; the popular reception given them demands their serious consideration. This thesis is an investigation into the potential of ethology to help explain political phenomena.
