This thesis is an elaboration of several elements in the systems theory proposed by David Easton in A Framework for Political Analysis and A Systems Analysis of Political Life. It is a theoretical inquiry into the relationship of the structures of authority in the internal conversion process of the political system to the type of values allocated by the system. A typology of various authority structures and value outputs is proposed as an aid to understanding this relationship. If you are not a current K College student, faculty, or staff member, email firstname.lastname@example.org to request access to this SIP.
