The power of the press lies in the fact that 1t creates a story. After finding facts, the reporter puts together a story and takes it at an angle he\she desires. It is the words used that gives the story it's power. Realizing the power of the press, it is easy to understand why the candidates for the presidency desire recognition from the press.
