My observations of the female Dasyrnutilla nigripes during the summer of 1969 have led mr to three conclusions concerning this species. I have found that D. nigripes do in fact overwinter as adults in northern latitudes such as Michigan. The peak population appears to be reached. in mid-August followed by a definite steady decline. Finally, the radius of the "home range" of the females of the said population has a mean of 57.4 feet with a 95% confidence interval from 26.6 feet to 86.0 feet.
