The objective of this study is to explore further the attitudes among residents of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico towards tourism and the changes associated with the industry. The reasons for selecting Puerto Vallarta as the study area were its designation as a tourist area by the government in the early 1970s, its rapid growth and development, and its apparent uniqueness among the world's developed tourist areas. If you are not a current K College student, faculty, or staff member, email email@example.com to request access to this SIP.
