Abstract
The objective of this investigation is to explore the controlled-potential electrochemical oxidation of 2-hexanone in aprotic media and the potential synthetic applications of this reaction. It is hoped that this study will add detail and perhaps further insight into the work of others and help to strengthen the overlap of cation radical chemistry in electrochemistry and mass spectrometry.
