First of all, this paper will address the platform of the Black Panther Party. This will encompass both the goals of the Party and the methods by which they were to achieve these goals. Secondly, the social climate preceding the creation of the Black Panther Party will be examined. Thirdly, the action taken by the Federal Bureau of Investigation against the Black Panther Party will be explored. Fourthly, the demise of the Black Panther Party will be discussed.
