Abstract
I: The purpose of this project was to find a rapid and efficient method of extraction and analysis of the fat-soluble vitamins using Modern Liquid Chromatography, i.e. High Performance Chromatography. II: The basis of this project is the determination of the theoretical NMR spectra that corresponds to the experimental NMR spectra for sym-tetrafluoracetone-para-n-substituted phenyl imines. Phenyl substituents used in this study include Cl, F, CH3, OCH3, H, and N02. These compounds represent AXX'BXY' spin systems at the slow exchange limit. At the fast exchange limit these systems become AXX’X”X”’. The subject of this study is the fluorine spectrum. At the slow exchange limit, the spectrum appears to be first order, that is it is a set of four triplets.
