The Return of the Wolf to the American West: The Politics of the Reintroduction of the Wolf Into Yellowstone and Central Idaho
MetadataShow full item record
In this paper I will examine past and present treatment of the wolf as a species in the United States. I will particularly focus on the debate surrounding the current proposal to reintroduce the wolf into the Yellowstone ecosystem and central Idaho. This isn't about biology; this is a political conflict and in the end it will be politicians who decide the wolf's fate. The outcome of this controversy is not only critical to the recovery of the wolf in the West, but will be a measure of our resolve to preserve and protect our remaining natural resources there and elsewhere. If you are not a current K College student, faculty, or staff member, email firstname.lastname@example.org to request access to this SIP.Page 62 misnumbered as page 63.
