Abstract
Section one deals with the organization of the Wolpe campaign; a
description of the staff members, their positions and
responsibilities. Secondly, I present my job as scheduler; the
resources I used and the process of preparing the schedule. Lastly, I
give a brief listing of how and why our campaign slogan came to be.
The subject of section two is name recognition; why it is important
and the types of efforts our campaign made to increase Howard's
name recognition.
Section three I call "The Search for Credibility: A campaign that
did make a difference." The first part explains how we tried to make
that name identification not only increase, but increase positively.
The second part looks at Jackie's efforts to not only increase her
positive name identification, but increase Howard's negative. It then
proceeds discuss the results of this endeavor in relation to the media
stories and endorsements.
The last section is a final evaluation of the campaign in general
and my opinion (and that of many others) of why Jackie was in a
no-win situation.
