An integral part of this SIP has been a work experience as a student intern: with the Consumer Protection and Antitrust division of the office of the Attorney General. This student internship has included work with several antitrust cases, review of numerous consumer complaints, legal research, bill analyses of consumer protection legislation and investigation of consumer protection violations. I have also been able to attend several interesting conferences, including a three day basic training for prosecuting attorneys; a few informative lectures, including an address on the effects of antitrust violations on the economy by Michigan State's Dr. Walter Adams; and some educational courtroom proceedings, including a Perma-Seal Roofing bankruptcy trial. If you are not a current K College student, faculty, or staff member, email email@example.com to request access to this SIP.
