Abstract
In the Fall of 1994, I took part in a three month internship
program, in Detroit, Michigan, with Thomas Paxton, at the law
firm of Lewis, White & Clay, and Federal District Court Judge
Bernard Friedman. My time was split between Mr. Paxton and
Judge Friedman, allowing me to become familiar with our country's
legal system from both sides of the bench.
