A Problem in Business Forecasting
Abstract
The project began with an examination of available forecasting algorithms,
and resulted in the picking and programming of one. Due to numerous
constraints and different sets of requirements, the programming stage of
the SIP split into two parts, and resulted in two versions of the same
forecasting model: one for bulk-running datasets at low cost, the other
for providing the user with a chance to control the individual processes
involved in computing a forecast via computer-user interactiono
