This Senior Individualized Project has been an individual self-study course in financial investments. As a starting point, the student investigated various source materials and from these developed a reading list on investments. Throughout the project the list was modified as necessary. As the readings were done, regular meetings were held with the faculty advisor, Professor John Bornhofen, of the Economics department. During these meetings the student reported orally on what he had read, while the instructor raised questions and brought up any other relevant points. The meetings were for about one and one-half hours per week, and at the end of each meeting the next assignment was formalized. This type of study went on for slightly over one quarter.en_US
