In the writing of the following analysis, two objectives were sought. Because little has been written in detail about American-Yugoslav relations in the post-war period, one of my concerns has been to present a comprehensive survey of the important contacts that oocurred. My primary objective, however, has been to trace the development of American policy toward Yugoslavia in these years. Major emphasis, therefore, has been devoted to the stages of transition in the American attitude toward Tito and to the factors influencing this transition. If you are not a current K College student, faculty, or staff member, email email@example.com to request access to this SIP.
