This paper is primarily concerned with one phase of the tremendously vast subject of metropolitan problems. It is concerned with a political solution to the problems encountered when a metropolitan area has a proliferation of governmental units which some people feel are only adding to confusion and subtracting from economy. Research was done through readings of works by other authors, but the bulk of the understanding which I have achieved on this subject has come through personal contacts and interviews in and around Grand Rapids. If you are not a current K College student, faculty, or staff member, email firstname.lastname@example.org to request access to this SIP.Research paper written for an individualized course (Political Science 193).
