A History of the Pontiac Stadium

Abstract

For most of the SIP, I relied heavily on two historical scrapbooks composed of news accounts which were supplied by the Pontiac Stadium Authority. From a skeleton outline created from the information supplied by the scrapbooks, I conducted several in depth interviews with two individuals who were heaving involved in the stadium effort -- former Executive Director Robert Rummel and the Director of Law for the City of Pontiac, Sherwin Birnkrant.
