Abstract
This thesis represents the summation of three quarters of labor sponsored by the
National Science Foundation Undergraduate Research Participation Program at Kalamazoo
College. To this time, the project has been
devoted to the design and construction of an
improved pressure jump apparatus. It is expected
that the summer of 1969 will allow the
accumulation of experimental data to augment
the present status of the project.
