dc.description.abstractThe mechanism of the Diels-Alder reaction is not yet known. It isn't affected by many of the influences which change the rate or process of most organic reactions. This project will shed some more light on the questions and conflicts concerning the endo to exo isomerization of adduct I through a kinetic study of its conversion in benzophenone and benzoic anhydride.en_US
